Technically, this is Cottage Hot Dish, because there was no way I would have been able to afford ground lamb for this when I created it

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can cream of potato soup (or any other “cream of” soup, really)
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 can green beans, drained
  • 2 cups-ish tater tots
  • Shredded cheese (I dunno, maybe 1/2 – 1 cup?)

Season the beef with salt and pepper, brown, and drain.

Mix beef with cream of potato soup and spoon into the bottom of a pie pan. Top with corn and green beans.

Arrange tater tots on top. Pretend you’re making a fancy pie.

Cook at time and temp according to the package directions for the tater tots (except for flipping them over).

Remove from oven, sprinkle with cheese, and bake until the cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
