Breakfast Pull-Apart Bread
Very simple, very fast bread stuffed with bacon, cream cheese, and scallions
- I loaf frozen bread dough
- 1 package cream cheese
- 1 bundle scallions, diced
- Bacon crumbles – maybe about 1/2 pound?
DirectionsThrow your bread dough into the fridge to thaw overnight.
Break the thawed dough into 16 pieces. Press one piece into a flat circle (about 2.5″ diameter or so). Place 1/2 oz of cream cheese in the center and fold up to create a ball. Place seam side down in a greased bunt pan or cake pan. Repeat with the rest of the cream cheese and dough, laying all dough balls in a single layer.
Sprinkle with bacon and scallions.
Cover with a towel and let rise until at least doubled (4-5 hours). Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is your level of “golden brown.”
